Personal and professional development

International perspective

As one of Europe’s global leading banking institutions, ING offers you ample opportunity to work on international assignments.
An international assignment might mean that you actually work abroad for a period of three to six months, or it could mean working on an international project while being based in the Netherlands. Either way, you’ll be working in an international context and in regular contact with colleagues from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, perhaps speaking different languages.

Corporate Responsibility project
This project revolves around the external positioning of ING’s Chances for Children. Starting during your central onboarding, you will work on this project together with an international group of peers.

Analyses (markt, sector, klant) maken, pitchboeken maken, informatiememoranda opstellen, waarderingsrapporten maken, database onderzoek verrichten naar potentiële koop- of verkoopkandidaten en alle overige transactie gerelateerde documenten verzorgen. Daarnaast fungeer je vaak als operationeel contactpersoon tussen het bedrijf, andere M&A specialisten en het ING dealteam.

Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van de afdeling door kennis over product- en marktontwikkelingen te delen en te beheren. Als Consultant wordt van je verwacht dat je zeer snel, efficiënt en accuraat werkt in complexe transacties, dat je pro-actief, zelfstandig en leergierig bent en dat je soepel met klanten en prospects communiceert.

Wie ben jij?
Je bent een ondernemende, initiatiefrijke, energieke, ambitieuze en hoogopgeleide consultant die het leuk vindt om aan- en verkoop transacties voor te bereiden en te ondersteunen. De deals zijn gecompliceerd en vragen een grote mate van vertrouwelijkheid. Compliant handelen is een absolute voorwaarde.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in het volgende profiel:
· 0 - 1 jaar relevante werk- en/of stage-ervaring: corporate finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance of private equity;
· analytische skills, bekendheid met balansen, resultaten, kasstromen en valuation-technieken;
· affiniteit met midcorporate bedrijven, DGA’s en familiebedrijven;
· aantoonbare commerciële- of frontoffice ervaring;
· snel kunnen werken met PowerPoint, Excel, Word: opzetten van financiële modellen, aansprekende en professionele pitches en heldere informatiememoranda en long-lists;
· stressbestendig;
· teamspeler, eager to learn en hands-on;
· pre = ondernemend en zelf startend;
· relevante studierichting (WO) en kandidaat met veel extra- curriculaire activiteiten, prestaties en/of awards
